The Illawarra Mercury 29 July 1932 reported:
Glasgow — Lister. — The following is reprinted from the West Macquarie, Blayney, of 10th ultimo:— A wedding of much local interest was solemnised in the Blayney Methodist Church, which was choicely decorated for the occasion by friends on Saturday last, when Rev. Curtis, of Mudgee (an old friend of the bridegroom), joined in the bonds of matrimony, Claire, youngest daughter of Mrs. Lister, of Thirroul, and John Paull, eldest son of Mr. J. H. Glasson, of 'Stanfield' and 'Gresham' stations. The bride, who was given away, by her brother, Mr. J. H. Lister, wore a dainty frock of ivory bridal velvet, and carried a bouquet of roses and yakkas. Her handsome veil was kindly lent by Mrs. Halse Rogers, of Sydney. The only bridesmaid, Miss Crawshaw (niece of the bride), of Thirroul (now a teacher at the school at, Kiama) was very dainty in a frock of powder blue angel skin, with picture hat of summer felt in the same shade. Her bouquet was of chrysanthemums and pink carnations. During the signing of the register, Misses D. and M. Marsden sang delightfully, 'My Prayer.' Mrs. Lister, assisted by Mrs. J. H. Glasson, afterwards received, about 70 guests at the Town Hall. The bride left for her honeymoon wearing a terra-cotta morocain frock and: hat to tone. Her fur coat was the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. and Mrs. Glasson's future home will be 'Bringalong,' Gresham.

(The bride will be well remembered as Sister Lister, of the nursing staff at Bulli Hospital, from which position she resigned a short while prior to her marriage. She is a sister of Mrs. Crawshaw, the much-respected resident of Lachlan Street, Thirroul. — Editor).
