Mr. Tom was a son of the late Mr. Henry Tom, who came to Australia from Cornwall with his brothers and settled near Orange. In 1860 Mr. Henry Tom took up land in the Charleville district, South-west Queensland. Mr. C. P. Tom, who was born at Brisbane in 1862, owned Toganthella and Chestorton stations, near Charleville. He came to Sydney, and settled at Kiribilli ten years ago. | ||
