Sarah Ann Evans (b. 1842?) was Anne’s younger stepdaughter, who in 1870 married Henry King, an engineer, and after sojourning in Glasgow and then in Boston, Massachusetts, settled a few miles from her father and stepmother at Horsley, Gloucestershire, and was still alive in 1901. [JCC 2004] The 1901 census shows Sarah living with her son Charles in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. |
