Elizabeth is not mentioned in her father’s will in 1767 and so may not then have been alive. The will mentions a John Bayner, then underage, who was grandson of the testator and therefore possibly her son. Provision was made for his upkeep until the age of twenty-one under the care of the grandmother Elizabeth.
