She was very beautiful— My Ain Folk. Had six children all of whom died young. Caroline ran a boarding house in Paddington, West London. According to one record, this was thought a poor marriage. A former Browne website indicates Caroline married her first cousin Benjamin Clark on 21 July 1825 at Stow Bardolph. (Elizabeth, a daughter of James and Winifred Thurtell, married a John Clarke.) |
