A sad death occurred In the Tamworth District Hospital on Sunday afternoon, when Mr. George William Shepley passed away as the result of an attack of typhoid fever. He was 31 years of age, and had only been married seven or eight months. Deceased was of an amiable and generous disposition, and consequently he made many friends in Tamworth. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon, when the Interment was made in the Methodist portion of the West Tamworth general cemetery in the presence of a large gathering of sorrowing relatives and friends. Tho funeral arrangements were in the hands of Mr. Leggatt.
