Unmarried. At Orange (N.S.W.) Cyril Underwood (28) was drowned through anxiety to hear news of his mother, who had been ill. Going for the mail he swung himself across the flooded Kangoroobie River by a wire cable. He got the mail, but on the return trip, when half way across, he fell into the current and was swept away.
