LOST WIFE AND BROTHER WITHIN HALF AN HOUR Mr. R. G. Glasson, of Tremearne,Lucknow, lost his wife and a brother by death within half an hour on Friday evening last. His wife, Mrs. Eleanor Glasson, died at Manly, and Mr. Harry Glasson, his brother, died in a private hospital at Woodstock half an hour later. Mrs. Glasson had been ill for some time. She was recently a patient in an Orange hospital, and then went to Sydney for treatment. Her remains were interred in the South Head Cemetery on Sunday afternoon. Mr. Harry Glasson, a Woodstock grazier, had been ailing for some five years. He was 86 years of age, and had lived in the district all his life. His wife predeceased him. He leaves three daughters. Mr. Glasson was a well-known horse owner. Black Burn won the Grenfell Cup four times for him. The Glasson family is very well known throughout the western districts. |
