The History of Springfield records that in 1879 Mr T G Webb died as a result of an accident. Jane, his second wife, survived her husband by 18 years and died on 11 June 1897 of the effects of typhoid fever contracted while attending a poor miner suffering from the same disease at Byng. | ||
