Also servants Joseph ROGERS (Male Servant — age 20), Thomas ROWE (Male Servant — age 15) and Johanna HOPPER (Female Servant — age 20). 1851 Census Shows — George TREWEEKE [Noted as ’TREVECKE’] (Farmer Employing 6 Labourers — age 52) living at living at Trequean, Breage, Cornwall with his wife Eliza (age 42) and their children George (Farmers Son — age 19), Frederick (Farmers Son — age 15), William Hy (Farmers Son — age 13), Richard ’GLESON’ (Scholar — age 12), Mary G (Scholar — age 9) and John (age 4). Also servants Thomas COCK (Unmarried — Farm Labourer — age 20 of Breage, Cornwall), Joseph HOSKING (Farm Labourer — age 16 of Breage, Cornwall) and Mary SANDEY (House Servant — age 17 of Breage, Cornwall). The 1873 Kelly’s Directory shows a George Treweeke (jnr we presume) as a farmer and cattle dealer at Trequean, Breague. It also shows Richard as a farmer in the area and Misses Treweeke as private residents. |
